Athletixx - All-Stars Mixtape (Vol. 1)

The momentum couldn’t be higher for Promnite, Falcons, Hoodboi, and Kittens. Today the quartet drops their first collaborative effort, Athletixx “All-Stars Mixtape Vol. 1.” Unlike most mixes that combine tracks from other artists, the Los Angeles production group decided to provide a 30 minutes of originals and remixes entirely from their own camp. It’s an expertly crafted compilation celebrating the diversity that is exploding in the Los Angeles electronic underground. Make sure you support the crew here.

Sophie - Lemonade.

If you don’t know by now, Sophie is the future. The mysterious UK producer has been slowly dropping transcendental electronic jams for over a year now. But a few days ago, Sophie dropped this game changing track entitled “LEMONADE.” The J-Pop influenced, glitch heavy track is a stark departure from balanced compositions, but it hits a niche that will certainly grow over the years. Look for this to blow up sooner than later.

Hex Cougar - AllNyte.

You gotta hand it to the kid Hex Cougar. After dropping the runaway success “Internet Crush,” the Shifty Rhythms producer drops another gem entitled “AllNyte.” Massive syncs hug the track alongside choice vocal chops and infectious beat patterns. Impressive is an understatement.

Rustie Ft. Danny Brown - Attack.

Let’s all remember that Rustie is still the king. The original bass monster returns with a hard hitting new banger entitled “Attak.” The Danny Brown assisted track sounds like a b side off the Fool’s Gold emcee’s recent album. Brown delivers touch twisting flow to accompany the UK producers enormous instrumentals. Look for this on Rustie’s upcoming release, Green Language.

Double Cross at The Lash - Friday 7/25 (Event).

You may not be cold, but you better believe that we’re bringing the heat this week. The monthly downtown party that has the streets raving (pun intended), is back for its next installment – and we’re here to tell you that it’s not going to be one that you will want to miss.

DJ TR!CK$.  That name speaks for itself. The New Jersey-native is coming to Los Angeles for a very special engagement, exclusively at The Lash on Friday. You can count on the young DJ and producer to throw down some serious Jersey Club heaters, which have garnered him countless accolades and critical hits, along with a massive following.

Next on the bill, and joining the ranks of M|O|D members who have destroyed the Double Cross dance floor, we have Rewrote. The producer and DJ will surely bring his unique sound and you can surely expect everything from Trap to Baile Funk to bring the night up to a fever pitch.

Then straight out of Bronx, New York, we have Super Nova to slay the dance floor with some serious bass bangers. And last, but certainly far from least, we have San Diego-native DJ Pound to turn the furnaces on and turn the dance floor up.

As always, entry is FREE with RSVP, so make sure to get ready for an unforgettable night.

Jessie Ware - Tough Love.

British singer-songwriter Jessie Ware is making sure you haven’t forgotten about her with her official new single “Tough Love“. The track has been confirmed as the lead single taken from her highly-anticipated second studio album, still untitled, scheduled to be released later this year via PMR Records. “Tough Love” was produced by BenZel (i.e. Two Inch Punch and Benny Blanco) and quite possibly one of my favorite songs from the singer to date. Well done Jessie!

Hex Cougar - Internet Crush.

Young Hex Cougar is on quite the hot streak. After dropping a couple of brow raising introductory remixes, the Shifty Rhythms producer surprises us with his new club inspired original track, “Internet Crush.” The track employs some infectious syncs that are wonderfully accompanied by complex drops and vocal samples. Simply put, it’s dope and the mysterious feline seems to have just sharpened his claws.
